its finally over///////////////

well the time has finally arrived. after week's and week's of looking and shopping and then fighting the hords and masses, we bought all the presents we could afford. then in less than 20 minutes the grandkids and old folks ripped open their presents. some happy, some not so happy and some just plain tired (0425am wake up).

the kids are playing with each new present as they open it. drop what you have in your hands to open up the next present handed to you. after all the paper and dust has settled, its over for another year. all that frenzy, all that waiting and hopeing and guessing at what they were. about to get. ITS OVER, ITS OVER now we can settled down to picking up of the cardboard and styrafoam and torn wrapping paper . i bet the garbarge man dreads this day toooooooo. tomorrow is trash day here in lebanon. tomorrow all the excess paper products will be gone.

QUICK HURRY,DID YOU THROW away the directions to a game or toy.???????you had better check the trash one more time. batteries galore,i bet the battery makers are in cahoots with the toy makers. lets see how many different batteries we can make moms and dads go to the store on christmas day to buy. you know as parents and grand parents we spend enough on christmas day in toyies and batteries that we could buy a small island in bahamas. do they had christmas in the bahamas???? maybe we should go there and see. we could give each grand child a shiny new coconut. fresh from the tree. no batteries needed. then we would see who had who by the pocket book.......... the battery makers would shrivel up and die...... tuff luck/////////////////////
maybe i would have money for a corn dog at the 7-11` store. tell next year, love, pop

tuff love finally hits home

well it's sunday and we are not going to church today. tuff love has finally hit here. mom has had enough. not with me but with the oldest daughter. after we found out that she had broke into our medicine lock box and stole 50+ vicadin from mom. which she was using for her back and shoulder.

keri is out and back to her own place. this week has been the christmas season from h--l///// on tuesday keri totaled the car we gave her. there goes 1700.00 down the drain. i glad she was ok. then last night was the last straw. today she lives in her place. it won't last long . i post pic's of the car. some peoples kids shouldn't be aloud to drive......

time to grow up and face the music. tuff love is hardest for mom's and dad's. we have made the correct step in helping her to get better. no more enabling her. we'll make sure she's ok but time to stand on her own 2 feet. seams like keri does something like this nearly every christmas for the last 5 years. i get to where i don't even like this time of year.

i hope you all have a good sunday. pop

chastised until i update my blog////////////////

well it's been over a week since i last updated our blog. ours is what i say but the lady of the house never updates. she leaves it to me. i was severely chastised today from TEXAS about not updating my blog. its been a little over a week. so i am updating. now the one who got me to update needs to do so herself as she is a week late toooooooooooooooooooooooooo/////// so there back at you Texas.

its been a fun filled week. our oldest daughter got married on Wednesday to what we thought was a nice guy. wolf in sheep's clothing. jerk///////////////////////////// he is soon to be my next ex-son-in-law. i would have shot him but i didn't want to waste a good 9mm round. anyway she is back here and we start all over againnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

so we are doing our Christmas shopping for our 20 grand kids and it dawns on me that if we don't spend the money on them i can spend it on the tool truck. LOL////////////////
i would never do that, because i love all 20 of my GKIDS. so we are broke again. if you have noticed lately that between fuel for our cars and presents for our 20 GKIDS, we have the yearly budget for a small island nation. LOL not really, we try to pamper all of them when we can. after all as one of my daughters has put it, be careful what i say because she will help pick out our nursing home in our later years. so if we don't spoil the GKIDS they may want to get in on the action.

well its my turn again to tell my 2 blogging daughters to UPDATE THEIR BLOGS....... you all have a great night and we'll see you in the funny papers.
