general conference oct08

well tonight is the first time in along time for me to be able to watch priesthood secession with the Bros of my ward. seems like every time i get ready to go something redirects me to do what ever it is. i look back at a time when my 2 sons would go with me to the ward house. what a wonderful time it was to have both sons there . but now my boys are raising families of there own, far far away. huh, maybe they are are trying to tell me something. and 2 of my daughters, who worship the ground i waddle on moved far far away too. what are you trying to tell me??????????? no don't tell me cause you might hurt my tender feelings. no just kidding. i realize you have to go where the lord sends you. but Texas, i don't think it was he who sent you there. i miss the days of going to watch conference together as a family. i mean what a treat, to go every 15 minutes and bring you all back into the chapel.fun fun fun, i only hope that your children don't do that to you.. heh heh heh???? its your turn now to police up your kids// watching conference at home can be dangerous, never getting dressed, watching in your p.j's getting up and putting the t.v on pause. while you go do whatever you do. sometimes i wish they had never invented DVR. but then again I'm glad they did. well i hope your conference watching goes well and you get a great big helping of the spirt in your home and in your lives. i love you all and miss you as much. happy birthday Aamon matthew lamb. later dudes.

We did conference at home today. The girls got full makeovers with mommy's "real make-up," to keep them quiet. It worked pretty good, I only missed about 30 mins...as opposed to the usual 2 HRS!!!

Hey Dad!
We do worship the ground you walk on....we just wish it was Texas ground! Conference was really really good! We watched the saturday sessions at the ward building. The kids did pretty good. We watched the Sunday sessions at home. Mark had to work. The kids did great. They even took notes! We all took turns reading our notes to Mark since he didn't get to watch. I was really proud of the kids! PS. the weather is wonderful! Hows yours?
